When New Orleans Airport planned its new passenger terminal, my team represented the city at Aviation Board meetings, actively shaping its future. We offered design recommendations aimed at reflecting the city’s unique cultural heritage and proposed engaging renowned architect Cesar Pelli as the lead designer. This collaboration led to a transportation gateway that captures the region’s rich cultural and architectural diversity.

Open stages are placed around the terminal, allowing brass bands to play sets around the airport for significant regional events.
